Hypothyroid Treatment – Symptoms & Solutions

Thyroid Problems can affect many parts of your life, so let's delve deeper into the possible problems and solutions available.

This article was contributed by a Samantha Latoya. A long term sufferer of hypothyroidism and mother of two beautiful twin girls.

Here Samantha explains the possible symptoms you may encounter, the risk factors which can lead to this condition as well as touching on issues like pregnancy and the risks for children.

Samantha is also outspoken on the use of natural hypothyroid treatment as a solution for thyroid problems.

Hypothyroidism is a disease that causes the thyroid gland, a butterfly shaped gland located in the neck behind the collarbone, to cease making the thyroid hormone. The common symptoms are:

Brittle nails.
Insomnia.
Irritability.
Dry skin.
Coarse and thinning hair.
Hoarseness.
An enlarged thyroid gland, commonly referred to as a goiter.
Muscle aches and cramps.
Cold skin.

Constipation.
Memory problems.
Depression.
Slow body movements.
Difficulty concentrating.
A yellowish tinge to the skin.
Inability to tolerate cold.
Modest weight gain, less than ten pounds.
Swelling of the arms, legs, hands, feet, and facial puffiness especially around the eyes.
Irregular menstrual cycles, and/or heavy periods.
Feeling lethargic.
Hair loss.
Drooping eyelids.
Swollen lymph glands.
Mood swings.
Long term constipation or diarrhea.
Elevated cholesterol levels.
Infertility.
Sexual dysfunction.
Tendinitis
.

In pregnant women, symptoms of hypothyroidism include fatigue, weight loss, depression, dizziness, as well as memory and difficulty concentrating.

Symptoms of hypothyroidism in children can include poor appetite, choking on food, and dry scaly skin. In teens the symptoms can include weight gain, slowed growth rate, delayed puberty, and may look much younger than their age. Common risk factors for hypothyroidism include:

Stress.
Genetics.
Menopause.
Too much soy product.
Over sixty.
Tobacco use.
Radiation exposure.
Lack of iodine in diet.
Lithium or cordarone use.
Poor nutrition.
Female.
Autoimmune disease.
Pituitary or endocrine disease.
Pregnancy.

In looking for a hypothyroid treatment, it is important to know that there are alternative treatments available that have far fewer side effects and adverse reactions. The side effects of conventional therapies include:

Skin rashes.
Lip swelling.
Hives.
Hair loss.

Concerned about taking synthetic hormones, many people are more comfortable with natural hypothyroid treatment that does not include the significant side effects that are common with most conventional treatments of hypothyroidism. Some of the natural remedies available include:

Vitamin B complex – This needs to include B1, B2, B3, B6, and B12. This complex will enhance your energy levels, boost immunity, reduce stress levels, improve liver function, and promote digestive function.

Copper – This mineral will enhance digestive function and energy levels.

Manganese – This will promote healthy skin cartilage and bones. It will also create better glucose tolerance.

Zinc picolinate – This will improve thyroid function.

There are many products available that include these compounds, but I personally use Thyromine. This product has all of these compounds as well as some other very beneficial ingredients.

My advice is to try natural remedies and listen to how your body reacts. You will soon find a solution just like I did.

Samantha

#1 – Thyromine

Thyromine

The results we got with Thyromine were a real surprise to us. We knew that the right blend of natural ingredients were effective in relieving the painful symptoms associated with an under active thyroid. But we never expected a product with all natural ingredients to be so effective.

Whilst no thyroid remedy will work instantly, some users report feeling and seeing results after just a week and a half. After 3 months of using Thyromine many people report increased energy levels, weight loss, thicker hair and better skin.

We’ve chosen Thyromine as our number 1 thyroid treatment because of it’s enormous success rate amongst users. The powerful blend of top quality ingredients works to soothe your symptoms naturally, allowing you to enjoy the benefits whilst avoiding the painful side effects of many other modern thyroid treatments.

#2 – Thyax

Thyax is packed with high quality all natural ingredients which combine to create a very effective thyroid treatment and that’s why it has received great reviews and praise from many trusted sources. Why did this product come 2nd? This product only made 2nd place in our rankings as users found it took slightly longer to feel and see results than they did with Thyromine (and Thyromine also gave better results).

If you’re looking for an under active thyroid treatment that brings increased energy and allows you to lose weight after a few months use then Thyax is a worthy choice.

#3 – Thyroid Complex

Thyroid Complex has been around for a while, and whilst many people swear by it, we found the results produced by the product did not match the standard of Thyromine (or even Thyax).

However, Thyroid Complex is an adequate product packed with top quality ingredients, which provides relief for many sufferers of hypothyroidism. Whilst we know this to be an effective product, it's only good enough to give Thyroid Complex the 3rd position in our top 3 picks.
